Try to me has no meaning. It’s as if were saying “I will exert some effort and if it doesn’t come easily I will give up.” I used to use this word all the time. It’s a word that has an excuse mechanism built-in. I would say it knowing that I already had an out. Until I became conscious of my own life, I didn’t realize the effect this word had in my life.
Examine how you use this word. See how you use the word try. Try not to use it. Haha! Your words become very powerful when they don’t come out with escape clauses. I would always say ”I will try……” now I just say “I will……” To me declaring that ‘I Will…’ has brought huge results.
Its funny I saw this here because I have been thinking about this for a while now and for me. I would see this word used and use it as a way to not do something or not hurt someones feelings about not doing something like sure I will try to make it to the fights even though you dont even like the fights and have no intention of going.I have found that as I get more clear with people my life has gotten easy my relationships have gotten better and some friends I thought were solid it has become clear that what I thought is far from the reality. While declaring I will has brought huge results for Aaron, Me declaring I will not has brought me great results in relation to the word try.
