Uncertainty is so much more expensive than certainty. Just recently had this pointed out to me by the universe as I had the cost of uncertainty catch up to me. Uncertainty brings more uncertainty. That is one reason why it so expensive!

I feel like this is something we can neglect economically but probably even more so in our personal lives. I have a tendency to make choices that bring momentary pleasure and future uncertainty. How much different my life would be if I were to always choose with certainty of the outcome. Not this wish filled hope that ‘everything will work out’ even though my choice wasn’t based off of certainty.

Certain choices bring certain outcomes. Principles govern the universe. As my friend Rick Koerber says: ‘Gods’ don’t play dice with the universe.’ Yet we who have the potential to become like gods gamble daily. Anytime we are not certain that a choice will bring desired results we are gambling. We make Las Vegas choices outside of Las Vegas. Like catchy Vegas advertising we think what happens in our rooms, or our thoughts, or when no one is looking stay in those places. I think when we are concious they are very evident in all that we do. People can see what we are all about before we say anything. We are all amzingly perceptive.
