‘The One Percent’

Just watched this documentary called ”The One Percent”, it was pretty interesting. I personally couldn’t really tell what the man’s objective was in creating it. He does interview Milton Friedman though and it is very interesting how he wanted to implement socialist practices but he didnt want to call it socialism. Milton Friedman called him out on it. Ideas to fix the situation? Increase the estate tax? Or in other words redistribute the wealth. Take the money from those who are good stewards over their money and give it to the one of the worst stewards in the world? The American Government. These articles are interviews with Jamie Johnson who created this documentary. http://www.forbes.com/2008/02/20/wealth-jamie-johnson-biz-cx_lr_0219johnson1.htmled and http://www.forbes.com/2008/02/20/wealth-jamie-johnson-biz-cx_lr_0219johnson2.html?partner=msn.  Interesting point that Milton Friedman also made was that the gap is getting bigger between the wealthy and the poor, but the poor are enjoying a standard of living which is increasing at the same time. I agree with Milton Friedman less government regulation and taxes will do more for the lower class than anything else. Check out Freedom and Capitalism by Milton Friedman. I am curious how this guy paid for his documentary. If anyone knows let me know. Also if anyone is aware of him giving up his inheritance. Just curious to learn more about him and his ideas and what he plans to accomplish. Stay tuned….
